Silvano Corneo was born in Desio at November, 13rd - 1942

Even if not professional painter, his production is the same very large, crossing artistic periods well deep in the research and in the intimate study and signed by a reloaded thematic subject.

So we see the landscapes. the still lives, the portraits and
many other themes absolutely original.

More constant is the tecnique, almost by oil colours on canvas or on masonite.

Many are his public presences, some one-man shows, too, and important are the obteined awards.

The most remarkable are:

to have been two times, in 1994 and in 2000, finalist at Premio Arte of Mondadori

five times winner, in 1990, 1998, 1999, 2001 e 2004, at Cinisello award.

In 1982 First Award at Palazzo Benvenuti in Montodine (CR).

In 1990, 1999, 2001 and 2005, he obtained the first price at the Concorso di pittura Cinis Aeli Club at Cinisello Balsamo

In 1999 achieved the first and in 2000 the fourth position at the Concorso nazionale di pittura estemporanea di Berbenno.

One man shows were at the Galleria d'Arte "Graal" in Corso Venezia at Milano, in 1997 and 2000 and by the Centro Civico of Sesto San Giovanni in 1998
